ABOUT STAMP OUT HUNGER

On Saturday, May 14, letter carriers in more than 10,000 communities will collect non-perishable food items and deliver them to local food banks to help
some of the millions of Americans, including an estimated 13 million children, who face hunger every day.

Since 1993, families have donated more than a half billion pounds of food to Stamp Out Hunger. It's a great way to make a difference in your community.
You can help make this year our most successful ever: simply leave non-perishable food items by your mailbox this Saturday, May 14! Please do not include
out-of-date items or those in glass containers.

FORWARD TO A FRIEND

A successful food drive depends on each of us getting involved. Please forward this message to your friends to urge them to participate this Saturday, May
14!

Thanks for the reminder although I have heard about this canned foods program from my husband all week. He is one of the Letter Carriers that will collect the canned foods for the various food banks and Yes! we will be placing a bag of canned goods by our own mail box. I know you Post several jokes and this isn't one of them but you really should live with a letter carrier and hear the growls... well just a few... he has a route that by the end of the day his mail truck will be filled to the brim. It helps out alot to those in need, it is just he knows at the end of working all day he will still need to unload his truck. In his words Gggrrrrrr!!! *smile* Well, I am off to get that bag filled. So again "Thanks for the reminder." Connie
